Maintenance Friday

As I was listening to the song Maintain Flow (Live) by Jonathan McReynolds, he began to expound on the importance of maintaining. As believers we have to learn the art of maintenance. Maintenance is an art because it is the ability to remain stable, level headed, and solid despite what may be going on in our environment and what the enemy may try to distract us with.
When we maintain we are letting the enemy know it doesn't matter what may be going on around me I will control my emotions and feelings because I am holding fast to the promises of God. Even though things may not be going your way and it seems as if everyone and everything around you has failed just "Maintain". Why worry when we can pray? Why doubt when we can believe? Why cry when we can laugh? Why stress when we can have peace? Why doubt when we can be free?
The word of God states "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee (Isaiah 26:3 KJV)". We can have perfect peace once we learn how to maintain and focus solely on God, meditating on His word and what he has promised unto us. All we have to do is stay focused knowing that God will never leave us or forsake us and that whatever trial we are faced with in our life will pass. So, today I challenge you to maintain when things upset you & when people fail you just know that God will never leave you or forsake you, whatever he has promised you will come to pass.
Have a blessed day everyone! Happy Maintenance Friday!
